Things to see and do
Attractions
The Blue Mountains has plenty of activities, experiences and things to see and do to keep you occupied for days, from nurturing yourself in nature to relaxing with some retail therapy. There is something to suit every one.
You can gaze at the majesty of the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Katoomba, amble through the Megalong Valley on a horse trail ride or step out for a bushwalk along one of the hundreds of kilometres of walking tracks - there's a bushwalking trail suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
For a more sedate pace you can step back in time and enjoy the ambience of bygone times at an historic grand hotel or period tea-room or cafe, unwind at one of the wonderful spas, wander through a well-established, cool climate garden or simply take a stroll and play a round of golf at one of the five fabulous mountain golf courses.
If you want to kick start your adrenalin levels you can ride the world's steepest incline railway, the Scenic Railway at Scenic World; put your pedal to the metal on a mountain bike and ride one of the region's renowned trails or you can go canyoning, abseiling, rock climbing or adventure caving with one of our enthusiastic and experienced operators.
Whatever experience you choose you are sure to enjoy your Blue Mountains escape.
